According to a report in Emirates247.com, NBAD Trust Company (Jersey) Limited, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), has launched Wealth Builder Plan, a corporate trust solution that allows employers to offer their expatriates staff greater rewards through corporate savings and pension schemes.

Wealth Builder Plan, the first pension scheme for expatriates by a UAE bank, has been specifically designed for domestic and multi-national companies that employ expatriates and seek to increase their return on human resources investment by attracting, rewarding and retaining talent.

It is essentially a packaged corporate structure underpinned by a range of investment fund options that employees can choose based on their risk appetite. The schemes are tailored for each client, and regular investments can be made solely by the company or by both employer and employee.

Dubai academy opens gate for English soccer career

Getting into the mainstream of sports is virtually impossible for most young expats in Dubai but there are a few grassroot level coaches and academies in the UAE who have laid the path for their trainees to be potential professionals.

The Go-Pro Sports Football Academy (GPSFA) located at Dubai English Speaking College in Academic City is a fine example of how local talent here can be spotted, nurtured and trained for possible inclusion in the professional club setups abroad, especially the UK.

The academy is open to all age groups and abilities, and both boys and girls can attend. Go-Pro Sports has been in Dubai for the last four years and as a coach and a head of the football section Kirk Hilton said: “I know I have the experience to not only improve the level of football here in the United Arab Emirates, but also to offer individuals a chance to understand the game further and to ensure they are aware of what is required to become a professional footballer.”
