In general, the accounting industry provides services that are aimed at designing internal control systems and providing financial data analysis and reporting. Accountants and auditors working in this industry prepare, analyze, verify and communicate financial information for companies, individuals, and governments. These professionals also offer services that include budget analysis and financial and investment planning. Most jobs in the industry require a bachelor’s degree in business or finance with specialization in accounting and a professional certificate or a license for a particular business line. Most opportunities are available for those with Master’s degree in the field.
The rapid growth of financial services industry and the overall commercial business in Dubai indicates that demand for accountants and auditors has a good perspective. The increase scrutiny of financial reporting and risk management strategies suggest that employment in this industry will likely grow in the years ahead.
