   I am Ivorian living in Dubai .i have a Master in Business Law from the Universite of Perpignan Via domitia.i have french as mother tongue and I also have the upper-intermediate level in english.Currently i take courses in business English at the british council.i have also an intermediate level of Spanish (spoken and written).recently graduated, i seek a job in legal or human resources. I have an experience of 3 months as an administrative assistant at the British Council and also at the UNHCR as an interpreter.
   I have a wide experience in the customer service in the commercial sector, as a salesman and also as a manager of a sales outlet. In Tunisia, I managed a team of waiters in a bar/restaurant where I dealt with customers on a daily basis as well as helping the team resolving problems. I enjoy working in a team but I am also able to work independently. During my work experience in the bank in Tunisia, I have been responsible for advising the customers on their rights. In the absence of my boss, I also took on responsibility for preparing the daily balance sheets for the department. At the British Council, I had a short term contract where I had to work with a colleague to create a database. Together, we agreed to divide the tasks and set deadlines for completion and we met on a weekly basis to check that our work was on track.
   I have studied and worked in several countries in West Africa and the Maghreb and this has given me experience of working with people from different language and cultural backgrounds. At the UNHCR, I worked in a small international team preparing and delivering briefings on the political and social situation in Ivory Coast. I worked with individual delegates preparing for and interviewing asylum seekers applying for refugee status and evaluating their applications. I enjoy the challenges of working in an international environment.
   From 2009 until 2011, I lived in Algeria as my wife was posted there. As I was unable to work full time due to status issues, I took on a number of part time posts as well as studying for an MA in Law and for the European Computer Driving Licence diploma. I also took a course in Arabic. I speak fluent English and French.
   I have a background in law, and have particularly enjoyed working in an advisory capacity in the bank and UNHCR. I am very interested in the post of Pro Consul because it seems to unite law and customer service. In addition, as my wife is British, I am aware of the importance of the role of the embassy in advising families living abroad.
