   I’m an Oracle Certified Professional with experience in USA as well as UAE. Due to a stroke of bad luck, I found myself back in my home country. However, with the worst of the Global recession behind us, I want to move back to UAE.

   Our IT field is more competitive and demanding than others.
   I send out my CV to all openings, but the I don’t get much of a response.

   What do you advise ?

     Hello Farrukh,

     Imagine thousand of others, just like you, sending their CVs to all openings. There is no human being can go through all the emails in just 8 hours of work. If you go to small companies, you will see that all workers are almost from the same nationality. Why? because HR usually hires friends and friends of friends. So, my best advice to you is to socialize and network, not to send impersonal emails.

     The biggest telecommunication company in the UAE is Etisalat. There is also Du.

   I like to work as an office manager in any dinamic company in dubai .. i ve sent my CV in manyy recruitment sites & agencies but no response , I dont know why , already have 5 years exp. in multinational companies

     Hi Rasha,

     My advice is that you try to reach companies and hiring managers directly. Try to utilize your network as much as you can. Unfortunately, some times recruitment agencies can’t be of much help.

     Hi Ajit,

     To find an IT job in Dubai, not only do you need to know computer networking, but you also need to know human networking!

     I’m serious, you gotta network with hiring managers and recruiters as well as float your CV around to relevant companies in Dubai.

     Which function of the clothing industry do you specialize in, sales, manufacturing, design, etc?

     Based on this answer, you could determine the best direction to take in order to find a job.
